The landscape design for the new Diagnostic Imaging Center at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System campus enhances the site’s mission of promoting healing and wellness. Rooted in the principle of Healing with Nature, the design provides visual and physical access to natural environments, proven to improve patient outcomes, support staff well-being, and foster a welcoming, restorative atmosphere.

The project focused on creating a sustainable and resilient landscape by utilizing existing site resources, selecting climate-appropriate plants, and incorporating rainwater harvesting. The result is a healthy, diverse environment that benefits patients, visitors, staff, and the surrounding ecosystem.
