The purpose of the project is to implement Green Infrastructure and Low Impact Development (GI/LID) and alternative stormwater management practices on the District’s Durango Campus property to create a showcase for water conservation focused site design. Our role in the five year project is to implement GI/LID techniques that have been proven while pushing the boundaries on next generation techniques that are specific to the valley. Lessons learned from this project will push to advancing sustainable techniques throughout valleywide cities.
